Classroom Policies
ClassroomRules
1. Arrive to class on time and prepared. 2. Remain in your assigned seat unless there is a classroom-related necessity for getting up. No one is allowed to roam around the classroom. 3. Be a respectful student: When the teacher is talking, you need to watch and listen without talking. You need to respect and use all art supplies appropriately. You need to share all materials politely. When you have finished using the supplies, you must return them to their proper location. Wash paintbrushes, trays, and water containers and return them to their proper location. DO NOT leave paint splatters in the sinks. Abuse of art supplies will be not be tolerated. Do not remove any supplies from the art room. You need to show respect to your fellow classmates at all times. Do not touch, mark, or otherwise harm the art work of another student. 4. Always do your personal best: "I can't" is not allowed in my room because you can if you only try. You need to work productively putting forth your best effort on all you do with very limited breaks. For a few minutes, you may talk very quietly while working. This privilege will be taken away if talking becomes too loud, disruptive or a distraction from work. Being loud and not working on your assignment will not be tolerated. You need to be on task the entire class; points will be deducted from your work habit grade if you continue to talk. 5. You must put your name on all assignments. 6. You need to clean your table and work area when the teacher announces it is time to clean up. 7. Follow all other school rules. |
